Fix: SoundCloud says connected but Rollout is "waiting for authorization"

This means credentials are saved but the one-time Authorize step never finished — or the wrong Client ID was entered. Here is how to fix it.

If the main page looks connected but the connection settings say "waiting for authorization" (or "Not connected yet"), one of two things is happening.

Cause 1 — you saved credentials but didn't finish Authorize

Saving your Client ID and Secret is only half the setup. You must also click Authorize and approve SoundCloud's "Connect with SoundCloud" screen. Open the connection window and click Authorize to complete it.

Cause 2 — the wrong value is in the Client ID field

If you pasted your artist name or login instead of the app's real Client ID, authorization can't complete. Re-enter the real Client ID and Client Secret from your app at soundcloud.com/you/apps (the Client ID is a long string with no spaces — see this guide), then click Authorize.

Once authorization completes, the status turns to Connected and you can publish.
