Frequently asked questions
Do I need a SoundCloud account?
Yes. Rollout publishes to your own SoundCloud artist account. You connect it once with a secure sign-in, and Rollout uploads on your behalf — you stay in full control of your own account.
Does Rollout post my music to Spotify or Apple Music?
No. Rollout automates the SoundCloud upload itself. Spotify and Apple Music are only reachable through a licensed distributor, which has no public "submit a release" API. Rollout focuses on making SoundCloud releasing effortless.
Can I schedule a release for a future date?
Yes. Set a release date per track and Rollout holds it until that date is due, then publishes it. Future-dated tracks are never released early.
What if a track has no cover art?
Every release still gets artwork. Rollout uses your embedded cover or a sibling image when present, and otherwise generates a clean, on-brand placeholder so a track is never blocked for missing art.
Will it ever double-post the same track?
No. Rollout keeps an idempotent ledger keyed to each track, so re-runs skip anything already published. Publishing is safe to retry.
