Fix: the SoundCloud app-registration page is blank or won’t load
A blank or broken "Register application" / "Accept and create" page is a browser issue on SoundCloud’s site — usually privacy settings or blockers. Here is the fix.
If SoundCloud's own app-registration page (the "Register a new application" or "Accept and create" screen) shows up blank or won't submit, that's happening on SoundCloud's website, not in Rollout — and it's almost always the browser.
On a Mac (Safari)
Safari's privacy protections commonly break this page. Either:
- Use Chrome for this one step, or
- In Safari, temporarily turn off Settings ▸ Privacy ▸ "Prevent cross-site tracking" and disable any content blockers, then retry.
Any browser
- Open an incognito/private window (this disables most extensions), or try a different desktop browser (Chrome/Edge).
- Disable ad blockers / privacy extensions for soundcloud.com.
- If it still fails, SoundCloud's developer page is occasionally flaky — wait a few hours and retry.
Once the app is created, come back to Rollout and finish connecting.
