Is my SoundCloud account safe with Rollout?
Rollout uses SoundCloud’s official connect flow, never sees your password, stores your secret encrypted, and only does what you ask. You can disconnect any time.
Short answer: yes. Rollout is built so you stay fully in control of your own SoundCloud account.
How your account stays yours
- Your own app, your own account. You connect with your own SoundCloud app credentials (bring-your-own-credentials), so your uploads go through your account — isolated from every other Rollout user.
- We never see your password. Connecting uses SoundCloud's official "Connect with SoundCloud" screen (OAuth). Rollout only ever receives permission to publish — never your login.
- Your secret is encrypted. Your Client Secret is stored encrypted at rest and never shown again after you save it.
- It only does what you ask. Rollout publishes the tracks you add, when you tell it to (now or scheduled). It never manipulates plays, reposts, or engagement.
- Disconnect any time. Disconnecting removes your stored credentials and Rollout's access to your account.
