How to connect TikTok to Rollout

Simple steps to authorize TikTok so Rollout can post your cover art and caption. Written for non-technical creators.

Rollout can post a photo post of your release cover with your announcement text to TikTok. This is not a full music video editor — it shares your artwork and copy so fans see the release.

What you need

Connect in Rollout

  1. Open Social → ⚙ Connections.
  2. Under Choose your networks, tap TikTok.
  3. Click Connect with TikTok (when enabled on the server).
  4. TikTok opens — log in if asked.
  5. Read the permissions and allow Rollout to post content you approve through the app.
  6. When you return to Rollout, you should see your TikTok name or handle as connected.
  7. Choose a track that has cover art → click Send test post.
  8. Open TikTok and check for the post (see note below if it looks private).

What the post looks like

Important: private vs public

While TikTok is still reviewing Rollout’s app, posts may only appear as private / only you can see. That is a TikTok rule for new apps, not a mistake in your settings. After review is complete, public posts can work with normal privacy choices.
