How to connect Discord to Rollout

Step-by-step: create a webhook in Discord and paste it into Rollout so release announcements go to your channel — no tech skills needed.

This lets Rollout send a short message (and your cover art) into a Discord channel you choose whenever you schedule a social post.

What you need

Part A — Create a “doorbell” link in Discord

Discord calls this a webhook. Think of it as a special private link that can only post messages into one channel.

  1. Open the Discord app or Discord in a browser and go to the server where you want posts.
  2. Click the server name at the top → Server Settings.
  3. In the left menu, open Integrations.
  4. Click Webhooks, then New Webhook (or “Create Webhook”).
  5. Give it a clear name, for example Rollout.
  6. Under the channel list, choose which channel should get your release posts.
  7. Click Copy Webhook URL. Keep this private — anyone with the link can post in that channel.

Part B — Paste it into Rollout

  1. In Rollout, open Social (from the console navigation).
  2. Click ⚙ Connections.
  3. Under Choose your networks, tap Discord so it is selected.
  4. In the Discord section that appears, paste the link into the webhook field.
  5. Click Connect Discord.
  6. Click Send test post. Open that Discord channel — you should see a short test message.

If something goes wrong

Next: write a post and schedule it — see the social overview.
