Add cover art to your SoundCloud release

Prepare a square cover to SoundCloud’s size rules, drag it onto the cover box, or keep Rollout’s auto placeholder. Rollout does not auto-resize your image.

Every SoundCloud release gets artwork. Bring your own square image, or let Rollout generate a clean placeholder so a track is never blocked for missing art.

SoundCloud size rules (prepare before upload)

Use your own artwork

  1. Click your song in the queue to open details (cover box is on the left).
  2. Drag the image onto the square cover box — or click the box to choose a file.
  3. It saves right away. Drop a new image anytime to replace it (before or after publishing to SoundCloud; swapping after publish updates what Rollout stores for re-use / social, and you may still update art on SC depending on your workflow).

No artwork? No problem

If you don't add a cover, Rollout automatically generates a clean placeholder so publish is never blocked for missing art. Swap in real art when you have it.

The cover box is only for images. Audio goes through + Add track at the top of the queue.
